Each year, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation awards 150 high school seniors
across the U.S. with a $20,000 college scholarship. Winning this scholarship is
highly competitive and extensive, with over 90,000 seniors applying yearly. Since
our inception, Heartland has prioritized acknowledging and celebrating scholarship
winners in our territory. This year was no different, and our hometowns rolled out
the red carpet to a facility tour for three tremendous seniors, their families, and
school administration from our Kansas City,
Wichita, and Topeka Hometowns. Our scholar visits started in our Wichita Hometown with senior Leslie Bravo from Wichita Northwest High School. We then traveled to our Northern Kansas Hometown
to meet scholar Ari Miller from Marysville Junior Senior High School.
We then wrapped up our final visit in our Kansas City Hometown with senior Erin William from Pembroke Hill School. Our Leadership teams took these visits as an opportunity to get to know the students, their passions, and their plans for the future. Our teams were excited to share professional advice with the scholars and offer insight into our world as their local bottler.
